Hi, I’m Lexi! I was born in Grenada, West Indies, and educated in Ontario, Canada. I began traveling at a young age, when my parents instilled in me a great sense of adventure. I still split my time between Canada and the Caribbean, and now get to share my adventures through Chris Doyle Publishing and the readers of our Cruising Guides, along with various other magazines and websites that publish my work. Below are just some of the many hats I wear; If you have questions or comments please don’t hesitate to get in touch!

Travel Writer
A product of my love of travel and a desire to share the world’s wonders with others, travel writing was a natural fit. Both short and long-term visits to four continents and over 20 countries via backpacking, sailboat, van life, and traditional tourism has taught me that when you go slow, you see more.

Designer
Visual art and design has always been a satisfying creative outlet for me. I love the versatility of graphic design, which I recently merged with my love of maps and travel to create my first major solo design project – the Sailor’s Map of Carriacou, Petit Martinique, and Petite St. Vincent.

Instructor
As a child, most of my time was spent in and around the perpetual playground of the ocean. Scuba diving was a natural progression, and after reaching the instructor level, I ditched the scuba tank to revel in the personal challenge and serenity that freediving brings, and the satisfaction of sharing that with others.
